Out-of-print 'A World in Ruins. Vienna 1945-1948' by Ernst HAAS tells history as a psychic collage. The images of the deep depression in the rubble of bombed-out history contrast with the optimistic awakening. A little-documented part of Austria's history

The photo volume 'Roots & Bonds' - part of a trilogy - by Regina ANZENBERGER contains forest images, created in the thicket. An atmospheric, quiet and artist volume - shown by the selection of images, the book design as well as the choice of paper used.

In 'Mago Über Verritt' Erwin POLANC brings together images that address seeing itself and its perception. Together with designer Oliver Kimpel, he explores the medium's possibilities. 162 photos contained therein are encompassed by a typographic bracket.

'Twentysix Houses Along Waldeggstrasse' by Otto HAINZL quotes the artist book 'Twentysix Gasoline Stations' by Ed RUSCHA. The b/w images by the Austrian show the empty buildings of a street in Linz as well as the social dramaturgy of urban development.

'Las Vegas. Notes from a Different Planet' by Barbara FILIPS and author Petra Piuk is a polyphonic portrait. It is at the same time a novella, a text montage, a picture story, but above all: a breathless journey into the heart of the gambling metropolis.

This out-of-print book 'Menschenbilder. Photos aus den Jahren 1966 bis 1986' by Michael HOROWITZ contains portraits of Thomas Bernhard, John Lennon, Andy WARHOL, among others, as well as a mounted original photograph and a signature of the photographer.
