Background information, content
"This out-of-print exhibition catalog showing the work by prominent Japanese photographer Takashi HOMMA (b.1962), contains his series 'Trails', 'Tokyo and my Daughter', 'Widows', 'M', 'Together: Wildlife Corridors in Los Angeles', 'Seeing itself' 'Short-hope' and 'reconstruction' - the last, 50 pages long set is in another paper; his classic, 'Tokyo Suburbia', is lacking, but this book gives a good overview on photographer's development.
In the critic
'I'm exited about the series 'Trails' (2009) and 'M' (2010), because they show the turning away from the purely documentary work, more to an artistic creation, as an anticipation or step towards the 2016 appeared book 'Narcissistic City'." (© Richard G. SPORLEDER)
