This photographic catalog, which accompanied the Harry CALLAHAN retrospective exhibition, presents the full range of his diverse photographic work, the result of his tireless and prolific creative activity over the course of some sixty years.

This volume, 'Brett Weston: Master Photographer', is the most comprehensive overview of the life and photography of Brett WESTON. It covers the six decades of his work (1925-1986), each introduced by an essay by renowned authors such as Beaumont Newhall.

Salvador Dalí is shown roped off a helicopter by his famous mustache, or in a rain of popcorn and baguettes. French Magnum photographer Philippe HALSMAN and the painter created a body of work over three decades that was in many ways ahead of its time.

This catalog, accompanying a major retrospective in Paris, brings together the most important works by William EGGLESTON - from his first experiments in black and white to a series of photographs of Kyoto that were made especially for this exhibition.

The pictorial worlds by artist Gerhard RICHTER are characterized by abstraction and representationalism. Out-of-print volume 'Landscape', a genre to which he has remained faithful for over sixty years, makes the development of his painting style visible.

SIGNED COPY. In his 2nd photo volume 'Keine Experimente', Dirk ALVERMANN takes a critical and mocking stance on the period of the economic miracle as well as the Nazi past. The b/w photographs were taken between 1956 and 1961 in Berlin and the Rhineland.

In 1968, Robert ADAMS photographed the nondescript area south of Colorado Springs. The b/w images, clear in their description, embodied the contemporary landscape of the US frontier - a theme of far-reaching significance taken up by the 'New Topographics'

This version of 'The Democratic Forest' contains a selection from the ten-volume set from 2015. William EGGLESTON has developed a unique style that skilfully combines local themes with an innate, nuanced understanding of color, shape and composition.
