This chronologically arranged monograph on the work of Eugène ATGET shows a photograph and includes the commentary of the editor, John Szarkowski. However, it is less about an exact analysis than about capturing the context and describing the attributes.

Vol.1 of late 1970s book series 'Photo-Galerie. Die Bibliothek berühmter Photographern' (The Library of Famous Photographers) is dedicated to the work of Jacques-Henri LARTIGUE, whose early sports photographs represent the fascination of an era for speed.

'Im Schatten des Kongo' (In the Shadow of the Congo) contains images of stereophotographs produced by Leo FROBENIUS between 1904 and 1906 using the anaglyph process. The book was published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Museum der Weltkulturen.
