Background information
'Sleeping Train' is the first series by Pawel JASZCZUK, created in 2004, before his volume 'High Fashion'. 'Sleeping Train' is a book of photographs that can be seen in parallel with 'Tokyo Compression' by Michael WOLF, but also 'Subway' by Bruce DAVIDSON or 'Manhattan Transit' by Helen LEVITT.

Published in pocket format, 'Sleeping Train' contains 96 full-page portraits of sleeping train passengers on the Tokyo Subway in 2004.
