'Combing for Ice and Jace' by Kurt TONG traces the history of one of China's oldest women's movements through the life of a single woman. Combing up - a ceremony involving hair braiding and ritual bathing - meant freedom for women in the Qin Dynasty.

'Transcendent Country of the Mind' by Sari SOININEN explores encounters with alternative dimensions of reality and perceptions of otherworldly signs around us. The colourful series offers glimpses of what she discovered behind the curtain of reality.
