About German photographer, Wilhelm SCHÜRMANN (b.1946, in Dortmund)

After studying chemistry from 1966–71, Wilhelm SCHÜRMANN started to work as a freelence photographer for different daily newspapers. In 1972 began collecting photography and was teaching photography at RWTH Aachen, faculty of architecture. From 1981 – 2011 he worked as a professor at the university of applied science, Aachen.
