About the German photographer, Werner AMANN

Werner AMANN is a photographer and artist. 1997 he graduated his diploma at FH Dortmund. Occasionally, he works also with film and sound. Since hestarted photography, he feels close to a documentary tradition. A lot of the time, his artwork revolves around a 'new documentary' approach, which explores the overlapping of documentary/staged. For assignments, he loves portrait and reportage work. He used to working in the studio as well and have produced campaigns for different brands and fashion. Werner AMANN lives and works in Berlin.
