About the Danish photographer, Joachim LADEFOGED (*1970).

Joachim LADEFOGED has been working as a professional photographer since 1991 and is represented by the international photo agency VII. Today he works mainly for magazines and journals such as The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, National Geographic, mare, Newsweek and TIME. He has won numerous awards such as Visa D'Or, World Press Photo Award, POYi and others. He was selected as one of the 30 Newcomer Photographers by Photo District News Magazine and has participated in the Joop Swart Master Class of the World Press Photo Awards.
In addition to three volumes of his own photography, he has worked on two major book projects for Agency VII: 'Tsunami' and 'Forgotten War: Congo'. Joachim Ladefoged has presented his work in several international solo and group exhibitions. Some of his works are part of the collection of the Danish Royal Library.
