About Swiss photographer, Meinrad SCHADE (b.1968, in Kreuzlingen)

Meinrad SCHADE has been an independent photographer since 2002. After studying biology at the University of Zurich, trained as a photographer in 1997/98 as part of the Group of Autodidactic Photographers (GAF) in Zurich and 1999/2000 at the Media Training Center (MAZ) in Lucerne. He was awarded the Swiss Photo Award 2011, the ewz.selection prize in the category 'Editorial Photography' (2011) and the n-ost Reportagepreis in the category 'Photo Reportage' (2013).
