About Belgian photo artist, Vincent DELBROUCK (b. 1975, in Brussels)

Vincent DELBROUCK (aka V.D.) is a self-taught and naïve art maker. By integrating his personal, contextual and fictional perspectives within his prolific archives, he produces lasting impressions of the living places where he feels at home: Cuba and Nepal. Working outside categories and experimenting with various media, V.D. uses c-prints, collages, photocopies and texts to create colorful flows of painting inside books and constellations on the walls. His work deeply reflects life as a natural process of changing energies and his obsessions, moving in every direction. V.D. has already (self)published six photo books. V.D. is represented by Stieglitz19 gallery (Antwerp). He lives in the Belgian countryside.
