About German photographer Ulrike CRESPO (1950-2019)

Ulrike CRESPO was a German photographer, psychologist and patron. She grew up in Darmstadt and, after training as a hotel manageress, studied French, art history and archaeology in Lausanne and Geneva. In 1980 she moved to Frankfurt am Main, where she taught German to foreigners. From 1985 to 1990 she studied psychology and after her license to practice she worked as a psychotherapist and then in the psychosomatic department of the university clinic of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. In 1995 she opened her own practice. After her licensure as a psychological psychotherapist, she became involved in a training project in group analysis for medical professionals in Ukraine. As of 2011, Ulrike CRESPO published several volumes of photographs.
