About the Norwegian Magnum photographer, Jonas BENDIKSEN (b. 1977)

With 19, Jonas BENDIKSEN got a one-year internship at Magnum Photos' London office. After finishing he left for Russia to try to become a photographer himself. The time he spent there resulted in his first book.The next book project became a three-year journey through four slum communities around the worldfollowed by a project about people who claim to be the Second Coming of Christ was published. in 2004 he joined Magnum Photos. Today Jonas BENDIKSEN lives near Oslo, Norway with my wife and three children.
