About the Austrian photographer, Iris ANDRASCHEK (*1963)

Iris ANDRASCHEK-Holzer studied from 1982 to 1988 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Maximilian Melcher.The artist works mainly in Lower Austria and Vienna. From 1997 to 2000 she worked for the Lower Austrian provincial government as an advisory board for art in public spaces. She has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since 2008, as well as the FLUSS association, the Lower Austrian initiative for photo and media art in Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel region, and the Vienna Secession.
