About the Finnish photographer, Kristoffer ALBRECHT (b.1961, in Helsinki)

Kristoffer ALBRECHT works as an independent photographer. He has been teaching photography since 1986. In 1987, he made his Master of Arts, University of Art and Design Helsinki, followed in 2001 by his Doctor of Arts, University of Art and Design Helsinki with the thesis: 'Creative Reproduction. A Practical Study on Ink-printed Photographs, Their History of Production and Aesthetic Identity'. His photographic work has been exhibited in his native Finland and internationally and can be seen in international collections in Helsinki, Stockholm, Moscow, Paris and New York among others. He has published some 30 photo volumes. Kristoffer ALBRECHT lives in Ingå, Finland
