About Dutch-catalan photographer Yurian Quintanas NOBEL (b.1983, in Amsterdam)

Growing up and currently living in Catalonia, Yurian Quintanas NOBEL works on his personal photo projects that focus on documenting people and their environment. After graduating as a senior image technician and specializing in photojournalism at IDEP (Barcelona), he had the opportunity to support photographers such as Tino SORIANO and Annie Griffiths BELT. In 2007 he won first prize from Vanguardia Magazine, 2011 the Photoespaña Discoveries selection, 2014 the SFR Jeunes Talents Award from ParisPhoto, 2015 the Open Call Award from the Encontros da Imagem and the selection as LensCulture Emerging Talent in 2018. To this day he has published a total of four photo book titles.
