About the German photographer, Charlotte MARCH (1929-2005)

The Essen-born photographer CHARLOTTE MARCH was one of the leading international fashion photographers from the 1960s to the 1980s. She studied at the Alsterdamm School of Art in Hamburg and, after first working as a fashion illustrator and graphic designer, decided to take up photography in 1956. Her estate of nearly 7,000 works has been part of the Falckenberg Collection since 2006.
