This self-published publication, published in 1929, was issued to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Leonhard Tietz Aktien Gesellschaft.

The paperback volume '50 Years Leonhard Tietz 1879/1929' contains an illustrated description of the company's history. 3/4 of the volume are provided with b/w photographs, in different sizes, partly reproduced in collages. At the end of the volume Werner MANTZ is explicitly named as the author of the artistic photos. This is understandable for the architectural photographs, but whether this also applies to the shop window decorations and festive events of Leonhard Tietz AG is questionable. Nevertheless, a large number of the photographs on 110 pages can be attributed to the Cologne photographer Werner MANTZ.
