"The winning title of the 2018 First Mack Book Award, 'TTP' by Hayahisa TOMIYASU has a German theme: 'TTP' is a series of photographs taken from the eighth-floor window of Hayahisa TOMIYASU's student dorm in Leipzig. His view to the south includes a public park with a table tennis table, which is the focus of his expressionless images.

Each photograph in the photo volume 'TTP' by Hayahisa TOMIYASU is similarly composed as the times of day, seasons, and visitors to the table change. And as we turn the pages, we see variations in the function of the ping pong table into a lounger, a skate obstacle, a laundry room, a children's climbing frame, a workout hangout, and a refuge from busy streets, among numerous other uses.
