About the German photographer, André LÜTZEN (b.1963, in Hamburg)
André LÜTZEN studied Visual Communication at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts and at the International Center of Photography New York. His work has received numerous awards and has been shown at the Haus der Photographie/Deichtorhallen Hamburg, the Krefeld Art Museums, the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Noorderlicht Photo Gallery Groningen, the New York Photo Festival and Photo España, among others. He has also taught photography at Muthesius University in Kiel and Folkwang University in Essen. Several of his long-term projects have been published to date in a total of eight photo volumes. André LÜTZEN lives and works in Hamburg.
