About the German photographer, Michael KERSTGENS (*1960 in Llanelli, South Wales)

The documentary photographer Michael KERSTGENS studied photography at the Folkwang University Essen with Prof. Angela Neuke and Prof. Inge Osswald. Since 2002 he has been working as a lecturer, first as a guest lecturer (until 2004 at the OOWH), then in Anhalt and since 2007 as Professor for Documentary Photography at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
