About the German photographer, Matthias JUNG (b. 1967, in Herford)

Since completing his studies in communication design at the Folkwang University in Essen (1988-94), Matthias JUNG has photographed for theaters, opera houses, magazines, associations and companies. Since about 2010, a regular exhibition activity as well as the occupation with photographic long-term projects were added. He is a member of the photographer agency 'laif', the 'Deutsche Fotografische Akademie' (DFA) as well as the 'Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie' (DGPh). Matthias JUNG lives in Erftstadt-Lechenich, near Cologne.
