About the Polish photographer, Pawel JASZCZUK (b. 1977, in Warszaw)

Paweł JASZCZUK studied at the School of Visual Arts in Sydney (Australia). After graduating in 2004, he moved to Tokyo, which became his adopted home for several years. While he pursued his commissioned work there during the day - for Sony Music, TOP SHOP or UGG, for example - and collaborated with local artists such as Ukawa Naohiro or Kenji Shimamura, the nights belonged to the clubs and streets of the metropolis. Works from Kinky City have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, Tokyo and Beijing, among others. The series was last shown last winter at the Leica Gallery in Warsaw. Pawel JASZCZUK currently lives in Wraschau.
