In out-of-print photo volume 'Matriarchs', Austrian photographer Maria HAAS focuses on the investigation of cultures in which women have a special status. She opens these cultures to the viewer and captures their beauty and vitality in sensitive portraits

'The Disappeared' by ambitous photo book editor contains portraits of people who disappeared in Argentina. It is a political bond that wants to keep the memory of these people alive. Printed on thin paper, it is primarily an inexpensive photo book item.

The Anti-War book 'Kriegsfibel' (War primer) by Bertolt Brecht and Ruth Berlau processes press photos from the Second World War. Images of machines and gruesome scenes were given new captions, socialist-realist epigrams to give the scenes a primal meaning

The b/w images by Sibylle BERGEMANN collected in her out-of-print photo book 'Fenster' do not follow any overarching plan, but are an expression of subjective perception. Each with its details captured window says something about the people they belong to

Out-of-print 'The Peace Weary' by Diana SCHERER and Menno Wigman was created after 'A Murder in Rotterdam' with police photographs from 1905 to 1967. Independently of each other, both were inspired by the photographs and developed this joint book project.
