About Spanish photographer, Pablo Castilla HEREDIA (b. 1980 in Granada).
Pablo Castilla HEREDIA lives and works between Granada and Norway. His work is based on the direct exploration of reality and is coded in a documentary language through different disciplines such as cinema, performing arts and photography. The use of a documentary style becomes in itself a strategy that exposes perceptual cracks and questions the boundaries between fiction and reality. After graduating in Fine Arts, he lived in Brussels from 2001 to 2014, where he did a Masters in Documentary Film and co-founded "Kevin or Harry" with Hedvig Biong and Niko Hafkenscheid, a performing arts collective that creates plays in which real people take the stage. Since 2018, he has regularly collaborated with Pablo López on projects around photography and territory ('Pangnirtung').
