About the Japanese photographer, Takashi HARA (b. 1960, in Yasugi City, Shimane)

After graduating from the Department of Photography, Faculty of Arts, Kyushu Sangyo University in 1983 - he studied under Japanese photographer Shoji UEDA - and after working as a photographer in Kyushu, Takashi HARA returned to his hometown and became a member of 'Circle U', a camera circle that started with a group of camera enthusiasts who loved the work by Shoji UEDA, and has been active since the mid-1960s.
