Background information
BANKSY, a now legendary British 'guerrilla' street artist, has painted the walls, streets and bridges of cities around the world. Not only has he smuggled his work into four major art museums in New York City, he has also 'hung' it in London's Tate Gallery and adorned Israel's West Bank barrier with satirical images. The artist's identity remains unknown, but his work is unmistakable - his prints sell for up to $45,000.

The 2022 calendar here features twelve works by the 'Guerrilla' street artist. The cover, 'Girl With Balloon' / 'Love is in the Bin', is simultaneously printed on the back of two months as a poster. The motif has recurred in variations since 2002. It became known worldwide at auction in 2018, when it began to self-destruct.
