For his photobook compendium 'Canon. On African Photobooks', Johannes Wohnseifer selected titles from his private collection that focus on the African continent. These photobooks, published between 1948 and 2011, are presented here in chronological order.

The photographs in 'After Us the Flood' give the abstract processes and complex interrelationships of the climate crisis a visual form. The international works of the last ten years was often the result of intensive research & cooperation with scientists.

'The Dutch Photobook' deals with the recent history of the Dutch photobook. Selected titles were placed in the context of developments in photography & society on the basis of the themes of landscape, youth, travel, urbanity, and the autonomous photobook.

In her photo volume titled 'Veiled. Too busy being awesome', Saskia AUKEMA deals with the niqab: the face veil. Here she shows a world that remains forever hidden from most. Interview fragments add depth to the photos, for which she was awarded in 2016.

For his out-of-print photo volume 'New Dutch Views', Marwan BASSIOUNI visited outlying suburbs to photograph typical views framed by mosque windows. The result is a mixed representation of identity, society, and the portrayal of Islam in Western culture.
