About the German photographer, Andrea DIEFENBACH (b. 1974) 

Andrea DIEFENBACH has been working as a freelance photographer since graduating from FH Bielefeld and has published in Brigitte, Brand Eins, Geo, stern, Neon, Die Zeit, SZ-Magazin, Du, among others. From 2013 to 2016/2017, she taught as a lecturer at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and Darmstadt. Since September 2016, she has been a lecturer in the Camera Arts program at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. For the series 'Land ohne Eltern' (Country without Parents) she was awarded the Documentary Photography Promotion Prize of the Wüstenrot Foundation.
