About the Cuban photographer, Raúl CAÑIBANO (b. 1961 in Havana)

Raúl CAÑIBANO learned the profession of a welding technician and only began to occupy himself with photography autodidactically in 1984. His work is printed in magazines worldwide and shown in the most important photography museums and festivals in the world, such as the Recontres de la Photographie d'Arles. His work has been purchased by important public collections such as the ICP New York. In addition, he has already received the Grand Prix for Cuban Photography.
