This photo book, 'Irgendwo', with black and white photographs is the result of a series of trips that Michael SCHMIDT undertook together with his wife in a caravan after the fall of the Wall in order to wrest a valid face from the German provinces.

SIGNED COPY! The out-of-print photo book 'Lebensmittel' (Food) by Michael SCHMIDT documents the industrialization in food production. The volume consisting of B/W & color photographs was the last publication on which he still worked until its completion.

The b/w images by Michael SCHMIDT taken near the Berlin Wall in out-of-print volume '89/89' look like photos of excavations. As in his other books, he refrained from picture explanations and thus questions the historical status of the respective monument.
