ONLY TWO SIGNED COPIES LEFT!
The narrow photobook 'Infra' with portrait- or full-body photographs of young people contains infrared photographs, which were reproduced for publication as silver print on black paper. The result, with all simplicity, unfolds the effect intended by the young photographer: to show the serenity of dancing, young people.
"In search of bodies in a trance, in complete dedication to the dance and the simple joy of being, I tried to act as an 'invisible hunter'.
For this I have transformed a digital camera so that it is only sensitive to the wavelength corresponding to the infrared. I use lighting of the same type and work with a flash that is invisible to the human eye.
The subjects reveal themselves in moments of abandonment, far from any staging, and offer the viewer portraits of self-oblivion."( Rebecca TOPAKIAN)
