Background information
In 2011 the photographer's father Hans BOL was diagnosed with cancer. He then took his camera and began a touching and intimate chronicle of the elderly man's gradual deterioration over the next six months until his father finally died in the comfort of a hospice and could no longer speak.
Hans BOL could not foresee that he would end up doing the series "White Crow" or what would result from the process of inevitable farewell to a loved one.
Content
In this publication, 'White Crow', Hans BOL considers crows and ravens as messengers of the gods, symbols of transformation and harbingers of eternity. Interspersed with pictures of his father, the volume concludes the trilogy 'God's Allies'. A self-published, very impressive photo book!
