About the American photographer, Lewis BALTZ (1945-2014)
Born in Newport Beach, California, Lewis BALTZ studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and Claremont Graduate School. He came to prominence with the 'New Topographics' movement of the 1970s. He was awarded with a Guggenheim fellowship and the Charles Pratt Memorial Award. Lewis BALTZ died on Nov. 22nd, 2014 at the age of 69.
