Background information
'Chroma' is the name of an extensive series by John DIVOLA from the early 1980s. At the time, he found that his early C-type color prints were fading a lot and he looked for a new, more stable material, e.g. the very industrial, man-made cibachrome - very flawed for conventional images, but with unique properties that eventually spawned the chroma images.
