'Europe Today 2004-2005', Volume #3 of 14 titles.

"The small-format photobook 'Latvia, Spain' describes in a documentary style the view of the Japanese photographer Koji ONAKA on the two European countries Latvia and Spain.
The color photographs are from the year 2004 and have the typical flaneur aesthetic of his other photo books, which he has mostly laid himself.
Koji ONAKA is interested in the outskirts that he opens up on foot. Since these are predominantly landscapes (also man-altered landscapes), we do not encounter any inhabitants of both states in the approximately 30 photographs.
It is each photographer's typical view that makes up this series 'In-Between'." (© Richard G. SPORLEDER)

(© Richard G. SPORLEDER)
