"'Intergalático', the published debut of Guilherme Gerais, is some kind of a visual literary essay.

Comprising a narrative in black and white filled with photographs, illustrations and small traces, the book is presented as a map, a guide, a trail to a ritualistic journey, but with an enigmatic starting point: a missing space, although preceding.

Captured in countries like Brazil, Turkey, and Czech Republic, these images are alternated in an order that requires immediate participation of the reader: from the beginning there is the invitation for a game, an outcome, a challenge between what is seen and what remains. The strategy, in this case, articulated spontaneously by the photographer, always points to the random, the disorder, the primarity of an alleged previous life - something that is divided between land space and the virtual universe, a journey that would be for the past but also for the future (liquid material).." (Guilherme GERAIS)

"(...) Intergalatico is a very strong and innovative work, but to fully appreciate it, you have to make you available for it. But once you’ve entered it, the book becomes addictive and you create your own reading, flipping randomly through pages." (Christer Ek)

"(...) Intergalático feels like a manifesto of some unknown outsider artist—the photocopied ramblings of a self-taught mystic." (Adam Bell, in: Photoeye)

"(...) He lies and tells the truth with collages, drawings, sculptures and his own thoughts. A wonderful book I am sure seems different every time you open it.'' (Sara Skorgan Teigen, in: Photoeye Best Photobooks of 2014

''Unlike all those books that tell me stories I already know, this one has me coming back to it.'' (Jorg Colberg, in: Conscientious)
